Safety on this platform is built from things you can check: verified documents, visible driver details, live trip sharing, and a dispute process that leaves a record.
Every driver is verified before going online
An administrator reviews the driver's South African ID or passport, driver's licence (front and back), vehicle registration certificate, proof of address and photographs of the vehicle. Drivers also give written consent to a background and criminal record check during sign-up.
You see who is coming before you confirm
Each offer shows the driver's name, photo, vehicle make and model, licence plate and rating. If what arrives doesn't match what you accepted, cancel and report it — you will not be charged.
Share your trip while it's happening
The safety button on the trip screen lets you share live trip status with a contact you choose. They can see that a trip is under way, the driver and vehicle, and the destination.
Emergency numbers are always on the trip screen
In an emergency call 10111 (police) or 10177 (ambulance). Our support line is 0800 000 111, and you can add a personal emergency contact to your profile.
Ratings work both ways
Riders rate drivers and drivers rate riders after every trip. Low ratings and repeat reports trigger review, suspension or removal from the platform.
Report anything that felt wrong
Every trip can be flagged from the trip screen or trip history. Reports go into a queue that administrators work through, and the outcome is recorded against the trip.
In an emergency
If you are in immediate danger, contact the police on 10111 first, then report the trip to us so we can act on the account. Do not wait for the trip to end.
